Herrankukkaro and s/s Ukkopekka

Herrankukkaro is a unique venue for meetings and recreation, built upon an old fishing village in the Turku archipelago. The beautiful Airismaa island is accessible all year round by road and bridges, in the summer time arrival by boat is also possible.

Herrankukkaro Village serves groups for incentives, seminars or private functions around the year, offering complete packages planned individually according to the guests’ needs. Accommodation is offered in traditional, cosy cottages or on board of our ship Arkkipelagus. Our exotic meeting facilities are far away from usual, and so are the worlds’ largest original Finnish sauna (smoke sauna) with space for 124 persons, the open-air-spa with hot water tubs on the beach, or the funny and interesting activities in the surrounding nature. The local archipelago food builds an important part of the experience. Welcome to enjoy the different world of Herrankukkaro!

The last steamship of the Finnish archipelago area, s/s Ukkopekka, among with some smaller charter-boats, happily serves groups around Turku, in the heart of the largest archipelago of the world. The 80-years old s/s Ukkopekka is located in the centre of Turku, in the river Aurajoki. Nostalgic salons with 140 seats, sun deck and the fully licensed restaurant are available for the passengers on board. The ship offers regular traffic from Turku to Naantali in the summer time, evening cruises to the small private Loistokari island, but also private charters for Herrankukkaro or Airisto-Sea cruises. Welcome to enjoy the soft journey on board of the traditional steamship!
