At the core of all our activities is innovation pedagogy, Innopeda®, a unique pedagogical method developed at TUAS. It emphasizes the viewpoints of RDI and working life, providing skills for independent thinking, effective communication and international activities.

TUAS takes part in Turku Future Technologies (TFT) cooperation, the aim of which is to strengthen the technological expertise as well as the recognition and appeal of Turku region and the south-western coast as the competence cluster in the field. A significant aspect in the education is to complete practical trainings and thesis work in collaboration with regional businesses; in this respect, the higher education institutes participating can utilize the TFT networks. City of Turku and City of Rauma participate in the operations of TFT.
