PIONEER IN SHIP INTERIORS
Metalliasennus Huuhka Oy was established in 1987. Having started with fire door installations at Wärtsilä Turku shipyard, the company was soon asked to enlarge the operations into turn-key interior supplies. The first turn-key delivery was “shopping area” to Carnival Cruise Line’s M/S Sensation at Kvaerner Masa Yards Shipyard, Helsinki in 1992-1993.
Since then Huuhka Oy has grown up step by step, both feet on the ground, and is today known as one of the leading turn-key suppliers in Finnish shipbuilding industry. Working nearly 30 years in the splendid and demanding shipbuilding industry has been a great challenge and an adventure – and will still be in the future.
