Who are you?
My name is Timo Kulmala, an Account manager at Fiarone Oy since 2016. I have a strong background in business consulting and sales and I always look forward to finding the best solution for my customers and people I work with. I find networking to be very important in my work and belong to both YardMate and BNI networks.
What is your company specialized in?
Fiarone provides services to companies to secure their valuable data from data breaches and security violations. We have a long experience with networks and Cyber Security solutions, SIEM / IDS IPS services, penetration testing, security auditing, GDPR consulting and Project management in various industries.
Fiarone’s Oversee Security Operations Center in Turku meets the most demanding criteria so we can safely assure all the needs of our customers are covered. Currently we also provide SOC services to public sector. Our state of the art SOC services scale to big corporates or smaller companies.
Tell us about your clients and other partners?
All companies in all areas need data protection in some form – and we provide it. The industries we work for are for example Financing, Manufacturing (for example Valmet and Outokumpu), Telecom, Energy and Healthcare.
What services or products do you offer to other YardMate members?
When it comes to YardMate, Fiarone can offer a wide variety of Cyber Security services and of course, guidance with GDPR if that’s still on your to do -list. We can also help corporations which have a hierarchy of subcontractors, in compliance fulfillment.

What are your expectations for YardMate?
We are proud to be a member of such a large network. Via the network we wish to grow our presence in the marine industry.
What are your future needs regarding personnel?
We have a constant need of skilled personnel in our demanding area of cyber security.

I wish to get to know the network even better! Anyone in or visiting Turku region, you are welcome to have a cup of coffee at our office! Or invite me and I’ll drop by! The importance of meeting face to face cannot be emphasized enough in business relations.
