Meet our member Manu Events, an innovative, strongly growing company who offers top-level conference center, restaurant and catering services.

Who are you?
I am Janne Tienpää, Commercial Director of Manu Events company.

What does your company do?
Manu Events is better known via its brand names Mauno Restaurants, Mauno Conference Center and Mauno Catering. We are region’s leading conference center and we have four restaurants, the fifth restaurant, seafood restaurant Bassi to be opened in August 2018. We also have two executive lounges and extensive catering activities.

Tell us about your clients and other key partners?
As a conference center and food & beverage operator we have a variety of clients: from private persons to multinational companies (small and large) and universities or other educational organizations.

What services or products do you offer to other YardMate members?
First, meeting & events facilities including superb Academy House Ballroom (Akatemiatalon Juhlasali) for major events or celebrations, second, restaurant services and third, high-quality catering services.

What are your expectations for YardMate?
We expect to further promote our portfolio services plus we aim to create a place for networking between people and companies.

What are your future needs
a) regarding personnel?
We are recruiting at the moment 10–15 persons more to our new restaurant Bassi.

b) regarding sub-contractors and partners?
Currently there is no need for new sub-contractors but we are always open to discuss cooperation with potential partners.
